The Rabari people are an ethnic group of primarily India. They are also known as Rebari, Raikas, and Dewasi. They tend to be pastoralists and are in north, central, and western states of India such as Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Punjab, as well as Sindh in Pakistan. Rabari is one of the such nomadic tribes living in Jawai area of Rajasthan. The hunger of their sheep and goats always keep Rabaris on move in Jawai belt.

Crocodiles are found in large number in Jawai Dam throught the year. As per the 2014 sensex there are more then 500 crocodiles in Jawai Dam. Around the bank of Jawai river and Jawai Dam crocodile taking sun bath in day time. The safari for corcodile is operated between 1:00 pm to 3:00pm. As we have our own spot for crocodile sightings where one can easily spot and take pictures.

Birds of prey are again present in good numbers and may include Crested Honey-buzzard, White-eyed Buzzard, White-backed Vulture and Black Eagle whilst Shikra sit inconspicuously close to the tracks.

Ranakpur Jain Temple

Ranakpur Jain temple is about 50 kms from Dera Jawai - Best Safari Lodge in Jawai Bandh. Ranakpur Jain Temple or Chaturmukha Dharana Vihara is a Śvētāmbara Jain temple at Ranakpur dedicated to Tirthankara Rishabhanatha. The temple is located in a village of Ranakpur near Sadri town in the Pali district of Rajasthan. Darna Shah, a local Jain business person, started construction of the temple in the 15th century following a divine vision. The temple honours Adinath, the first Tirthankar of the present half-cycle (avasarpiṇī) according to Jain cosmology.

Kumbhalgarh (literally "Kumbhal fort") also known as the Great Wall of India is a Mewar fortress on the westerly range of Aravalli Hills, just about 80 km from Dera Jawai - Best Safari Lodge in Jawai Bandh. It is a World Heritage Site included in Hill Forts of Rajasthan. It was built during the 15th century by Rana Kumbha. In 2013, at the 37th session of the World Heritage Committee held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Kumbhalgarh Fort, along with five other forts of Rajasthan, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the group Hill Forts of Rajasthan.
